Look they have been great to watch, we have loved to hate them. They are only kids having a great time - it is not their fault, so booing them is really awful. If anything boo the Svengalis that put them in such a vulnerable position, and kept them there. But listen to this and you can see that it was very wrong for Lucie to have been voted off instead of them. I have to say that Lucie was a better singer than Olly (who I'd love to see win btw) but I think in the grand scheme of things this year is not vintage in terms of the vocals. Olly is a great entertainer, Stacey should have some sort of career. If the reports are true Danyl is verging on the diva side of the fence a deeply unattractive place to be so early in ones rise up the ladder. But enjoy the Jedwards last song for survival. All I can say is well done Dannii integrity is the most important of human virtues, even more so than a versatile bob or sublime dress sense.
Emigrating to New Zealand 7 years ago, Jonathan and Rebecca started a new life at 45 an 39. Baby Millie was 9 months old, now joined by twins Lucy and Jessica. They have known each other for just 8 years. This is their story.

Sun Hat v Umberella
This time 2 years ago I'd be worried about getting a burned head or nose during my cycle trip down to the ferry and across Auckland Harbor. This morning back in the UK it was how I am going to cope with all day wet feet from the soaking I got on the blustery freezing 1.2k to Whittlesford Station. Nothing to consider when you see the awful plight of the North West of the UK and mt hearts go out to anyone battling nature.
It is at this time of year one does question the wisdom of a return to the UK. However, as we head to Christmas, and simply because its what we know, a cold Christmas seems right. Jessica and Lucy are going to be "stars" in their nativity play and Millie is going to be an "angel." I think the essence is my term "its what we know." Sure hot summers were an adventure and great to experience, but they were not "what we knew" and therein lies the difficulty in emigration. The new experience has to out do what you know my a huge magnitude for it to be worth giving up what you know. We humans love what we know, we cant even give up things we know to be bad for us let alone the things we love. I love an English Christmas, it is what I know, it is where my family are it is I guess where my heart is, and the lovely days spent on the beech in December didn't compensate. However the friends we made in New Zealand and that we enjoyed all the holiday breaks with are so sadly missed.
But I am so looking forward to seeing Jessica and Lucy as Stars and Millie as an Angel, even if it is blowing a gale and pouring with rain. And I think Grandma is too!

Stacey Solomon x factor 21 Nov 2009
This is the adorable Stacy from tonight's George Michael X factor. She is great. I still think Olly should win, even though I didn't think tonight was his night.

Olly Murs Xfactor 2009 Queen
It was Queen week this week and I still think Olly Murs is the best, I base this on this below par vocal still producing the most entertaining performance of the night.
Its about time that Simon lost one of his over 25's. Jamie was good but I think was going down hill from a great start.

Simon Cowell defends x factor voting
This is the moment straight after he sent Lucy home by condemning her to the public vote. I bet if it was one of his acts he would have saved them like a shot.

X Factor ITV London Olly Murs
This is the guy I think should win X factor, he is just great, this wasn't his best number to date but it was pretty good. I have to say we did miss TV weekends like this when we were in New Zealand. Strictly Some Dancing and X factor on Saturday, with the Results show for X Factor on Sunday and next week I an a Celebrity get me out of here starts (so does Dr Who!) OK I know the weather is bad here and we all stay inside. And I could do with a visit to Narrow Neck!
