Hello. I've always hankered after emigrating to NZ (slightly secretly, I must admit, as if its something a bit naughty). Your blog is great as it gives a good flavour of the 'real thing'.

But then it makes me a little sad..living in NZ seems to be an incredibly expensive affair, and even more than so than the UK.

Using a convenient fag packet to write on the back of, I reckon we could live pretty much mortgage free in NZ..but we'd still have a lifestyle no better than what we have in expensive old Blighty, and most likely worse. £8 for a bit of broccoli? Lordy. At least your diesel is cheaper than ours..just.

Sigh...guess I'll just have to sell my body to science instead...

Hello Jonathan and Rebecca - yes we watch too much UKTV too but that's because oz telly's so rubbish!! In fact I was so desperate I even brought back some telly with me from a recent trip back to blighty, courtesy of the BBC iplayer thingy.

Congrats on the second job. Glad Grandma is having a great time with the kids. I watched Human Remains on UKTV last night I am still not quite sure WHY lol.
My son needs to start practising a scouse accent he just got a part in Blood Brothers at school,I told him it was a shame The Liver Birds wasn't still on HAHA.
