We were looking to fly from NZ to UK return and for 2 adults and 2 children we were looking at over $8,000 - flying direct... but with children we really don't want to fly direct - so add in a stop-over in San Francisco on the way there, a stop-over in Hong Kong on the way back to NZ.... and we're now looking at between $10,000 and $12,000 NZD!
